Blomberg, 12 August 2025 – Last Sunday, Borussia Dortmund said goodbye to one of its greatest club legends. The match was filled with emotional moments as the “Yellow Wall” celebrated their long-time defensive leader.
Hummels was visibly touched and grateful. As part of the season’s opening ceremony, he was given a special honor in the sold-out SIGNAL IDUNA PARK: the presentation of his BVB “Walk of Fame” concrete slab.
