The first Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for iron oxide- and carbon-containing liquid concrete color of the "REBAcolor" brand is now available. In collaboration with our partner "KIWA," extensive data has been collected and analyzed over the past months to determine the relevant environmental indicators. This work was carried out as part of a detailed life cycle assessment and technical documentation.
The Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) provides a fact-based basis for evaluating the sustainability of a product. It includes technical information, environmental metrics, as well as data on production, transportation, use, and disposal. The EPD describes the entire life cycle of a product, considering not only the raw materials used but also the production processes and the impact on recycling and disposal. This detailed documentation enables a transparent and objective assessment of the environmental impact.
Independent verification of the EPD confirms the conscientious and reliable provision of data with a validity of five years.
